Silent Rant

Sometimes during the sharing of prayer concerns at church someone will lift up a "silent prayer request" - meaning they have a  concern of a personal nature but don't want to share the details.

It may be about one's self ("D*mn prostate!"), or one's boss ("D*mn boss!"), or someone else in the room ("I heard Bob is cheating on his wife!"). It is kept silent because sharing the details could have damaging repercussions.

There are times while writing this blog when I would like to rant about something or someone, but dare not because it could have damaging repercussions. This is one of those times.

Please accept today's post as simply a "silent rant".
